Professional reviewing documents at a desk

Checklist before you grant analytics access

Delays in conversion audits rarely come from the analysis week. They come from the quiet days before: waiting on legal review of credentials, hunting for an event dictionary last updated two years ago, or discovering that nobody agrees on the study window.

Bring these six items

  1. The conversion question in one sentence (“Checkout completion fell after the March payment SDK update”).
  2. Store links for each platform in scope.
  3. Release notes covering the study window.
  4. Event dictionary or a recorded call where someone walks through names live.
  5. Read-only access or a redacted export sample.
  6. A named owner who answers clarifying questions within one business day.

Access hygiene

Prefer time-limited, read-only roles. Revoke them when the brief is delivered. If your security team needs a processing agreement, start that paperwork when you send the inquiry — not the week analysis is meant to begin.

After access lands

We confirm receipt, restate scope, and only then lock the start week. If intake stays incomplete, we reschedule rather than guess. That discipline protects both your deposit timeline and the quality of the brief.
